Field Operations & Compliance Management App
The Doctor’s Academic Services (DAS) App is a dedicated module of the PharmaCRM platform developed to support Sales and Marketing teams in managing academic service engagements with healthcare professionals. The app enables users to create and approve project and DAS requests, upload doctor consent forms, and submit proof of receipt for delivered services. It also facilitates performance monitoring with a focus on identifying underperforming DAS initiatives. Access to the app is role-based, ensuring that team members can only manage activities relevant to their assigned teams or subordinates. Additional access can be granted through admin configuration in the web-based PharmaCRM system.

TECHNOLOGY CHOICE
For the DAS project, the web application has been developed using .NET Core, offering a robust, secure, and scalable backend architecture to meet enterprise-level requirements. For the mobile application, Flutter has been proposed and implemented, enabling a single codebase to deliver a high-performance, cross-platform experience on both Android and iOS devices. This technology stack ensures seamless integration, efficient development, and consistent user experience across platforms.

THE CHALLENGE
The client initiated the development of the DAS (Doctor’s Academic Services) project to address several operational challenges faced by the Sales and Marketing teams in managing academic service activities. Previously, the process of initiating, tracking, and monitoring DAS requests was manual, fragmented, and lacked transparency, leading to delays, data inconsistency, and limited oversight. There was no centralized system to manage doctor consent forms, track service fulfillment, or evaluate the performance of DAS initiatives. This created inefficiencies, compliance risks, and made it difficult for management to identify underperforming areas. The DAS project was launched to streamline these workflows, enforce policy compliance, and provide real-time visibility across all levels of the organization.
SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION
To resolve the client’s operational inefficiencies, DD developed a comprehensive solution consisting of both Web and Mobile applications under the DAS (Doctor’s Academic Services) module. The Web application, built on .NET Core, is designed for higher management roles (PM and above) and includes configurable setup forms that define policy attributes governing system behavior. It also provides a unified view of DAS and Project data, along with advanced reporting capabilities based on teams, products, and territories—enabling strategic oversight and informed decision-making. In parallel, the Flutter-based Mobile application is tailored for field force users (SPO, DSM, SM), allowing them to initiate project requests, upload doctor consent forms, and submit proof of receipt directly from the field. This integrated solution streamlined the end-to-end process, ensured policy compliance, and enhanced visibility and efficiency across all user levels.
