The Business Challenge
Mikael Fernholm, CTO at Accessor Telematics, envisioned a modern and flexible telematics platform. He wanted to empower major service providers and tier-1 customers with advanced capabilities. These included digital driving records, real-time fleet tracking, and performance analytics.
At the time, Accessor relied on a third-party telematics system that was becoming both expensive and restrictive. They wanted to build their own platform for greater control and scalability. However, finding skilled developers locally in Sweden proved to be challenging and costly.
Mikael was initially cautious about hiring offshore consultants, having seen how short-term contractors often fail to share long-term product vision. Still, the idea of building a cost-effective, scalable, and dedicated hybrid team pushed him to explore new options.
Our Solution
Through an existing connection with Digital Dividend Sweden, Mikael decided to partner with our team. We combined remote developers from Pakistan with an on-site developer in Sweden. This hybrid setup created a seamless and high-performing collaboration across borders.
We built a comprehensive telematics ecosystem tailored to Accessor’s needs. It integrates multiple IoT hardware devices, advanced data processing, and real-time reporting. Together, these features give Accessor complete control and visibility over its operations
| Core Components | Description |
| Multi-Brand Hardware Integration | Integrated GPS and IoT devices from Calamp, Digital Matter, Neoway, Teltonika, Queslink, LinkitAll, and others. |
| Web Dashboard & Mobile App | Enabled live tracking, trip management, and data visualization for end users and service providers. |
| Real-Time Trigger Engine | Custom rules-based system that sends instant alerts for events like speeding, unauthorized trips, or device downtime. |
| Data Processing Engine | Processes millions of data points per day to create accurate trip summaries and flag potential data inconsistencies. |
| Reporting & Analytics | Delivers detailed insights into fleet usage, mileage, and expenses — ensuring compliance with Swedish business regulations. |
